Handyman in Anthem and Sun City Anthem
The Anthem communities in the Henderson foothills, from Anthem Country Club to Sun City Anthem, Solera, and Anthem Highlands, are fifteen minutes from our home base. Dave O's Fix-It Pros handles the repairs, fixture swaps, safety updates, and honey-do lists these homes need, with the patience and clear communication that 55-plus residents tell us they wish every service had.
We are an insured, family-owned handyman service operating since 2009. Not a licensed contractor, and honest about the difference on every call.
What Anthem Homes Actually Need
Anthem housing is newer than most of Henderson, built largely between 1999 and the late 2000s, so the work here is less about age and more about lifestyle, elevation, and keeping homes safe and comfortable.
Safety and accessibility updates
Grab bars anchored into studs, comfort-height toilet swaps, handheld shower fixtures, better lighting in halls and closets, and threshold fixes that remove trip hazards. Our most requested work in Sun City Anthem and Solera.
Fixture-level plumbing and electrical
Faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and water heaters on the plumbing side. Ceiling fans, switches, outlets, smoke detectors, and light fixtures on the electrical side. Fixture swaps only. Panel work and pipe relocation go to licensed trades.
Wind and sun repairs
Anthem sits high on the McCullough Range foothills and catches more wind and sun than the valley floor. Gate hinges, fence panels, exterior caulk, weatherstripping, and sun-beaten front doors are steady work up here.
Honey-do lists and seasonal help
TV mounting, picture hanging, furniture assembly, garage shelving, holiday light help, and the list on the fridge. Many Anthem clients book a standing half-day visit once or twice a year to clear everything at once.

Anthem Handyman FAQ
Do you serve Sun City Anthem and Solera at Anthem?
Yes, both, plus Anthem Country Club and Anthem Highlands. A large share of our Anthem work is in the 55-plus communities, where we handle safety updates like grab bars and better lighting alongside regular repairs. Dave does the work himself, shows up when he says he will, and explains what he did before he leaves.
How fast can you get to Anthem?
Anthem is part of Henderson, about 15 minutes from our base, so small repairs called in early can often be done the same day. Otherwise you get a firm next-day window. We do not make you wait at home all afternoon.
Can you install grab bars in a tiled shower?
Yes. We anchor grab bars into studs or use engineered anchors rated for body weight when a stud is not where we need it, and we drill tile with the right bits so it does not crack. This is one of our most common Sun City Anthem jobs.
What Anthem work do you NOT do?
We stay inside handyman scope. No electrical panel or circuit work, no EV chargers, no pipe relocation or slab leaks, no structural changes, no garage door replacement, and no roofing. For those we refer licensed contractors we know and trust, and we are happy to make the introduction.
Do you follow Anthem HOA and architectural rules?
We work within them. The Anthem communities have active HOAs with standards for anything visible from the street. For exterior repairs we match existing approved colors and materials, and for anything needing architectural approval we tell you before work starts so you can file first.
Is there a trip charge for Anthem?
No trip charge within Henderson, and that includes all of Anthem. Estimates are free. For small single-item jobs we quote a simple flat price over the phone or by text photo so you know the cost before we drive up the hill.
