These terms describe the conditions under which Dave O's Fix-It Pros provides handyman services and under which you may use our website. By calling us, booking work, or using this site you agree to these terms.
Scope of services
We are a handyman business, not a licensed contractor, plumber, or electrician. The only license we hold is a Nevada state business license. We perform handyman-scope work only: general home repairs, fixture level plumbing, fixture level electrical, bathroom and kitchen updates within an existing footprint, flooring installation, and garage organization. We do not relocate plumbing, work on electrical panels or circuits, refinish hardwood floors, or perform any work that requires a Nevada licensed contractor.
If your project requires a licensed trade we will tell you on the call and point you toward someone we trust.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free and provided in writing or by text. Estimates are valid for 30 days. Final pricing may adjust if hidden conditions are discovered after work begins, in which case we will pause and review the change with you before continuing.
Scheduling and cancellation
We schedule jobs by phone, text, or email. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice when possible. We do not charge a cancellation fee for reasonable notice.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless other arrangements are made in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
Workmanship
We stand behind our work. If something we installed or repaired fails because of how we did the work, contact us within 30 days and we will return to address it at no charge. This does not cover damage from normal wear, misuse, or work performed by others after our visit.
Liability
We carry general liability insurance for the handyman work we perform. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
